Welcome to Gammie's Candles

In 2020, we faced numerous challenges, but through the grace of God, each new day brings us choices. We can either wait for change or take the initiative to create it. After losing our jobs due to COVID-19, Charlie and I chose the latter. Following much prayer, soul-searching, and determination, we embarked on the journey of starting our own soy candle business.

This journey has not been without its difficulties. In January 2020, Charlie was diagnosed with Parkinson's, and in June, doctors informed us of his colon cancer diagnosis. Following surgery to remove eight inches of his colon, we learned that one of his lymph nodes also contained cancer. Despite these challenges, Charlie’s resilience has been inspiring. He has endured multiple rounds of chemotherapy, numerous hospital stays, and the effects of Parkinson's, all while supporting my dream of establishing a family business.
